Sway Bars and Stuff
Below are pictures of the various sway bars I have tried, 3 in fact. The stock SVT bar (thinest), the BAT bar (middle) and the Aussie Bar (from Terry Haines). The Aussie bar has a very pronounced bend in it and I could never get the bar to fit correctly without it banging against the sub frame. After trying everything I could think, I eventually took it out and put the BAT bar back in with new bushings and mounts.
There's also some pictures of torn Sway Bar mounts (not mine), but these are pretty classic examples of what normally happened with these. I eventually tore mine and had to remove the subframe and reenforce it as below.
Finally a view of the subframe connectors (again these pics aren't mine) that I put in. The name is a bit misleading as they don't really connect the suframes they only stiffen the body, but that's what they call them!
